I'm looking for the holy grail of art. Somewhere out there is JUST the info I need to take my art to the next level. I just have no idea what it is or where to look, so I just keep searching. It may not be one peace of information, but a series of bits and peaces that I have to put together. I've been looking for a very long time now. I've asked several very prominent artists and a good number actually got back to me and gave me more peaces to this puzzle. I know what I want to do and how I want my work to look, I just haven't been able to figure out how to get there yet. All the tutorials and books and aid I get seem to assume that that one vital peace is common knowledge and I have a very hard time explaining what I'm searching for. What is it that I'm missing... what will make my work as good as I see it in my head...? A friend told me once that I just have to get "popular" and that it will click then. I don't see how that is possible and I can't get "popular" until I get better. Well, it's almost 1am and I have to work in the morning... I'll work on this mystery more later.
